Japsistara meeting at Hauho 11th to 13th of June

The Vintage Japanese Motorcycle Club Of Finland, a.k.a. Japsistarat, arranges a Stara get-together every year. In 2010 it will be held at Lautsia leisure center in Hauho, June 11-13th. The leisure center is located in the heart of Häme region, by the Lahti-Tampere road (road 12).

You can overnight in cozy double rooms or in your own tent outdoors. The program contains e.g. a group ride to the motorcycle museum and an evening festivity with competitions, music, entertainment and lots of fun. The highlight of Saturday is the pork festival with a whole roasted pig.

Wellcome to Lautsia

Lautsia is a holiday resort at lake Ilmoilanselkä in beautiful Finnish countryside surroundings. The location of Lautsia is 10 km from Hauho, between Lahti (77 km) and Tampere (53 km). There is bus transport from Hämeenlinna (36 km) to Lautsia and the bus stop for express buses between Lahti and Tampere is only 300m away.

We have accommodation for 200 persons, mainly double rooms and six family-rooms. You can choose between hotel rooms (incl. toilet, shower and tv) and hostel rooms (incl. toilet, common shower and tv in the same building). The sauna and pool department are available every morning and evening for our guests.

At the lakeside there are two saunas:

• an electric sauna with two separate sauna departments and a common fireplace room – for groups at extra charge
• traditional Finnish sauna which you can heat up yourself

Restaurant Antonia’s buffet serves breakfast, lunch and dinner. From the restaurant you can order festive dinners for your group beforehand.

For meetings and parties we have 7 different conference rooms, max. 200 people.

In Lautsia you can enjoy traditional Finnish landscape and activities like swimming (summer and winter), boating, fishing and canoeing. In winter you can try skiing, ice-fishing. We have also a wide selection of different relaxing and refreshing treatments like acupuncture, shiatsu, reflexology, massage, facial treatments etc.

Organizing committee and rally fees

Stara Treffen is organized by Vintage Japanese Motorcycle Club of Finland. Head of the organizing committee is club president Matti Paukkonen. Contact info found on this page.

Participation charge is 20€ per person. Price includes a rally sticker, a surprise product sample and live music on friday and saturday evening at party zone Riemula (full rights).

One day visitors are charged 5€ per person. Price includes rally sticker and a complimentary cup of coffee/tea at the restaurant Antonia. Saturday day visitors have also possibility to join the evening pork dinner for a 15€ charge. Oink Oink!

Accommodation choises

Registration is ongoing today. In Lautsia there is 212 beds in 11 separate cottages. A possibility for camping is also arranged - even for motorhomes. If youre coming with whole family, there´s six large family rooms available. Dogs also wellcome.

Room accomodation package costs 115€ per person. It includes: Two night accommodation in split two person room, linen wear, breakfast on saturday-sunday, pork dinner at saturday evening, Sauna on friday and saturday, use of hotel swimming pool on mornings and evenings.

All restaurants in area have full license for alcohol.

A place for tent is 11€ for the weekend.

Price includes Sauna on friday and saturday, use of hotel swimming pool on mornings and evenings for all persons in one tent.

Campers meal package costs 49€ per person and includes the tent place from friday to sunday, saunas, swimming pool use and breakfast on saturday-sunday, pork dinner at saturday evening.

Saturday day visitors have also possibility to join the evening pork dinner for a 15€ charge. Oink Oink!

Brand clubs and international visitors

2010 Japsistarat emphasizes collaboration with brand clubs in and out of Finland. We have invited all clubs of Honda, Kawasaki, Suzuki and Yamaha enthusiasts we know to join us in this weekend. For the first time there will be invitations sent and information given in swedish, english and german languages. Actually we have sent invitations to Italy and Switzerland too.
